Smoked tuna piquant and pea puree
    Ingredients
  • 2 cans TRATA smoked tuna piquant
  • 30 g red wine vinegar
  • 100 g cherry tomatoes cut in half
  • 50 g chives
  • 50 g parsley
  • 50 g celery
  • 100 g onion, finely chopped
  • 50 g olive oil
  • 400 g fresh or frozen peas
  • 100 g potato, diced
  • 250 g hot water
  • Salt and pepper

Open the cans of tuna and save the oil. In a bowl place the tuna, tomatoes, chives, parsley and the vinegar and let them marinate. Put the tuna oil, celery and onion in a large saucepan. Season and let over a medium to high heat until the onions are translucent and soft. Add the peas, potato cubes and water, bring to boil and cook for approximately 20 minutes until tender. Drain the vegetables and save the water. Use a potato masher to mash until smooth. Add a little water if needed. Serve placing the tuna and tomatoes on top.
