Stuffed TRATA on Ice Sardines with Herb Pesto
    Ingredients
  • 1 package of TRATA on Ice sardine fillets 400 gr
  • 4 slices of stale bread
  • 2 finely chopped cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of finely chopped parsley
  • 2 tablespoons of finely chopped dill weed
  • 2 tablespoons of finely chopped fennel
  • 2 tablespoons of finely chopped pine nuts
  • 12 bay leaves
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
PREPARATION
Preparation Time:30 minutes

Allow the sardines to reach room temperature. In a bowl, grate the bread into crumbs and add the herbs, pine nuts, and olive oil. Lay the bay leaves in an oven tray, spread the sardines out on top of them, stuff them with the herb mixture, and bake in a preheated oven at 180° C for 20 minutes. Serve with fresh olive oil and toasted bread.
