Mediterranean Anchovies TRATA on ice with Mustard and White Wine
    Ingredients
  • 1 package of Trata on ice Mediterranean anchovy fillets
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 30 ml of mustard
  • 30 ml of white wine
  • 30 ml of olive oil
  • 100 gr of fresh herbs such as dill weed, fennel, and mint
  • Salt and pepper
  • Garnishes:
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 1 sliced avocado
  • 1 sliced lemon
PREPARATION
Preparation Time:25 minutes

Preheat the oven to 160°C. Spread a sheet of baking paper over the oven dish to be used. Put the garlic, mustard, white wine, olive oil, salt, and pepper into the blender and blend until a sauce forms. Chop the herbs finely. Remove the package of fillets from the freezer. Open it and place the fish, frozen as they are, under running cold water to remove the ice. Do not attempt to thaw them further; we want to remove the ice on the outside. Dry them on the outside with a paper towel. Spread the mustard sauce onto the fish fillets, add some of the herbs and keep the rest to use as a garnish. Bake the fish for 12 minutes. Check to make sure it is well done. Cut into pieces. Serve the fish fillets with toasted bread and avocado, fresh herbs, and lemon.
